Jack: 1951 MG TD

Bruce & Roberta Sedelmeyer

We went to sleep Friday night with the weather report showing we would likely be soaked for about half of the day on the show field. Woke up at 4am and what a difference 6 hours makes! The weather gods relented and gave us a beautiful day with out any rain at all. The first hour or so foot traffic was very light and I thought the evening forecast had frightened spectators to stay home. But then the floodgates opened and the crowd rolled in. Berta and I sat behind our Jack and answered questions almost non-stop about Jack with countless pictures being taken and smiling faces beaming with appreciation. Parked next to me was the beautiful '54 MGTF of Jim McCrory from Atlanta who has parked with us the last 3 - 4 years. Unfortunately we were the only MG's on the show field. For those interested next year I'd like to give tips on how to be accepted when the enrollment opens up. I did manage one walk around and took photos of some of the other British cars there.

It was a beautiful day and one I will remember, even the $17 cheeseburger couldn't dampen our spirits! :)
